Helping People with Chiropractic Care

Reflecting on his decision to become a chiropractor, Dr. Minns (Chiropractor) said, “I was considering a role in the health care system since I was 13 years old. Towards the end of my secondary schooling I decided chiropractic was more congruent with my personal health philosophy and gave me the opportunity to help people in a more profound way than traditional avenues of health care.”

My role now as a chiropractor enables me to assist people with not only spinal complaints but those disorders which traditionally are not considered necessarily associated with the spine. This is a fascinating aspect of chiropractic and one in which research is now confirming what chiropractors have known for many years.”

Educating People as to the Benefits of Chiropractic

Further to this, Dr. Minns added, “My biggest challenge is to educate people as to the benefits of chiropractic and the fact that we are not necessarily a ‘back doctor’ but focus primarily on the workings of the spine and its relationship with the nervous system and how it relates to the optimum function and well being of the entire body.”

From a preventative and wellness aspect, Dr. Minns (Chiropractor) encourages all members of the family to have their spines checked routinely as part of their normal health regime.
